Message	of the the O2 bung changes. On "divorced" type DPs, the O2 sensor sits at an agle towards the firewall. I noticed this when I installed mine but the trouble was limited to the wires. I had to build a sheath aroun them at the sensor to keep them angled away from the FW. Perhaps yours made contact with a hose or something that caused the bend.
